Terms of Service
Effective: October 22, 2026
Welcome to Dometown (穹顶小镇). These terms are the rules for the online parts of the game: accounts, neighbors, notes, messages and the shop. By playing, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The license for the app itself is Apple’s Standard License Agreement.
1. Your account
- Tapping Start gives you a guest account. Sign in with Apple saves your colony, so you can get it back on a new phone.
- One account, one colony.
- Keep your Apple Account safe. You’re responsible for what’s done with your account.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time; it’s deleted within 7 days (see the Privacy Policy).
2. Age
- Players under 13 pick names from a list, use preset phrases for notes, and add friends with invite codes (see the Parents’ Guide).
- If you’re under 18, ask a parent before you buy anything.
3. Being a good neighbor
When you name your colony, design your flag or write a note, don’t: - insult, mock, harass or threaten anyone; - post anything discriminatory, hateful, sexual or violent; - post contact details, links, ads, or anyone’s personal information; - pretend to be someone else, or to be us; - infringe anyone’s copyright or trademarks.
And don’t: - cheat, use hacks or scripts, or exploit bugs to farm resources; - attack or disrupt the servers, or create accounts in bulk; - buy, sell or rent accounts or in-game items.
4. What we do
- Names and notes go through a filter. You can report inappropriate names and notes, and block other players.
- A name or note reported by three players is hidden automatically until we’ve looked at it.
- We read every report and act on it as soon as we can. Content that breaks the rules is hidden or deleted; accounts that break them seriously or repeatedly may lose the ability to write notes or add friends, or be suspended.
5. Your content
- The names you give, the flags you design and the notes you write are still yours. You let us store them to run the game and show them to other players in the game.
- When you delete your account, they’re deleted with it.
6. In-game items and purchases
- In-game resources (supply crates, regolith, metal ingots, solar panels, ice and so on), buildings and achievements can only be used in the game. They have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for money, bought or sold.
- The shop sells looks only, at plain real-money prices, and payment is handled by Apple. What you buy is a license to use that look in the game; it stays with your Apple Account, and you can restore your purchases on a new phone.
- Refunds follow Apple’s rules and are requested from Apple.
- A gift you buy for a neighbor belongs to them once they accept it. Under Apple’s rules, a gift can only be refunded to the person who bought it.
7. A Moon we share
- The map, neighborhoods, events, and server-wide projects such as the Mars shipyard may change as the game is updated. We’ll try to tell you in advance, and to never take away what you’ve already earned.
- Plots, colonies and in-game items are part of the game; they aren’t kept once an account is deleted.
8. The service
- We work to keep the service running, but there will be maintenance, outages and faults. Offline, your colony keeps going; anything involving your neighbors arrives a little later.
- If we ever stop the online service, we’ll tell you in the app at least 30 days before.
9. Liability
- The game is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses.
- Where the law where you live gives you more rights (for example, consumer protection), those rights apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We’ll tell you in the app before important changes take effect. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
